“Do you want to be a boy or girl?” asks the Creator.
“Can I choose?”
“Yes, you can.”
“I want to be a boy.”
“Why?”
“Boys have easier lives.”
“Many prefer to be girls.”
“Why?”
“They live longer. They give birth to children. They prefer those bodies. Why do you want to be a boy?”
“They are stronger. They are more clever and they don’t have to give birth to babies. They have simpler bodies and easier lives.”
“That is not true.”
“What is not true?”
“That boys are more clever.”
“How do you know?”
“Well, I create them.”
“I still don’t want to be a girl.”
“Why?”
“I was a girl in my previous life. I want to try something else.”
“That is a good reason,” says the Creator and creates a new life. It is a boy this time.
