#83: Granny and the hunter

An elderly lady and a hunter are sitting at the kitchen table in the lady’s house. The house is close to the forest. They are talking and waiting for the granddaughter of the lady. The granddaughter is coming from a village from the other side of the forest. Suddenly, it starts raining.
“Oh, my little girl is going to get wet,” says the grandmother with a pity in her voice.
“When it is raining, it is dark in the forest. My little girl is going to be afraid.”
Suddenly, they can hear a knock on the door. They know it is not the granddaughter. She has the keys.
“Who is it?” the lady asks.
“It is me, your granddaughter.”
The lady doesn’t answer. She waves the hunter to come to the door and prepare his gun. The lady opens the door. A wolf runs into the house. Before it can bite the lady, the hunter shoots the wolf.
In two minutes, the little girl enters with her keys.
“Granny, granny. I was so afraid. I heard the shots. Mommy, is sending you apples, wine and bread. And I picked you some flowers from the forest. Look, I am soaking wet,” says the little girl.
The lady looks at the guard and they know they saved the girl from the wolf. She was lucky this time.
