Failing the entrance exam to university

John receives a letter. The letter is from a university. He opens the letter.
‘We are really sorry to inform you but we are rejecting your application. But we hope you try again next year. You need only three more points on your entrance exam.’
John is crushed. He has bad mood and he doesn’t go out for two months. His friends worry about him. They all asks what is wrong but he is so ashamed he doesn’t tell them at first.
“Don’t be silly. This is not the end of the world. You can try again next year,” a friend tells him. “You must be really good because I tried to get in and I was short by 50 points.”
Two days later John receives a call. “I need you to help me. Come to my address,” a man tells him.
John doesn’t know the man but he thinks he is rich. Only rich people live in that neighbourhood.
“I want to get into university. I have tried four times and I always failed. I will pay you a lot of money if you take the exam instead of me and I double it if you succeed,” the rich man says to John.
John is thinking. He shakes hands with the man. Until he gets into university he might as well make some money. He goes to take some exams hundreds of times for other people in the coming four years. He always succeeds. Interestingly, he always fails by three points when he sits for the exam for himself.
