#79: Film troll

Jane is at home with her boyfriend, George. They have had a hard day at work and they have decided to watch a film and chill.
“Let’s watch this romantic comedy with our favorite actors,” Jane says to George. He doesn’t look very happy but he agrees. He would rather watch some horror film. The film starts and they watch only the first five minutes before George begins to speak.
“They both like reading. They both love books,” George begins. “And now they meet in a bookshop. What a fate!” he says in ten minutes. “She tells him she is going to study at university out of town. The complication!” he says in half an hour. “He gets a job in the city where she is studying,” he says in the middle of the story. “A beautiful but stupid woman likes him and he likes her,” he says near the end. “He realizes he likes the bookworm and cannot live without books,” he says at the end of the story. “And they lived happily ever after.”
“Why are you a troll?” Jane asks. She wanted to ask this earlier but she didn’t want to get into a fight in the middle of the film. “I will never watch films with you again, if you don’t stop commenting on them. You really ruined the film for me.”
“Ah, sorry, honey. I didn’t realize,” he says and kisses the girl. But he did know what he did and he will do it again.
