Am I a loser?

John is at a party at a friend’s house. A lot of his friends and many other people have come. Suddenly, John gets a headache. He doesn’t have a headache very often but when it hits, he feels really terrible. But it doesn’t last long. He is feeling terrible now. He wants to talk to people but the headache is so bad he often misunderstands what people say.
“Did you say I am a loser?” he shouts at a woman he is talking to. Everybody around them turns to John.
“I said you are amusing,” the woman says and steps away from John.
“Am I amusing you?” John is shouting now even more. He doesn’t want to shout but the headache makes him do it.
“I meant to say you are funny.”
She steps further away from John. John goes after the woman and grabs her arm. Some people come to him to talk to him. Accidentally, he hits one of the men in the face with his elbow. The man tries to hit back but some men hold him back. In ten minutes everybody is hitting everybody. John is in a corner now. He is looking for an easy way out. On all fours he tries to leave the place. He gets to the door. He opens it and goes outside.
‘These people have gone mad!’ he says to himself as he is trying to find his car. His headache is over by the time he gets into the car. But he knows he cannot go back now.
